The children have begun the classification of life on their planet with distinction of Living from Non-Living. They have also begun to explore the maps of their planet and the mysteries of its inner core. We will be making the exploration of these planetary mysteries more experiential and concrete by planting flower bulbs on the playground to over-winter and blossom in the spring. We won't but be able to help but notice that the earth will warm them and keep them alive. ...How? ;) We are looking for 3 or 4 parents who would like to volunteer to help the children plant their bulbs. We would also love to borrow some trowels for planting.
